TRASHBAT Party this Thursday!
TRASHBAT [trashbat.nyc@gmail.com] is a brand new clubnight at Public Assembly in Williamsburg. (Take the L train to Bedford Ave)
For one Thursday a month, we celebrate bands, djs, short films, and of course… peace & fucking. BELIEVE.
Admission is $7. Bring a flyer, and it’s only $5 to get in. You can bring the flyer attached to this event page or make your own. So long as the word TRASHBAT appears on it, you’re in for five bucks. (We’re not fussy.)
Opening Night lineup…
Headliner: THE DEAD RIVER COMPANY
11:00pm
This ramshackle group have been inspiring impromptu dance parties all over New York and Philly with their own high energy blend of folk/Americana/bluegrass.

BRER BRIAN

Brer Brian has been an integral part of New York’s Anti-Folk/Sidewalk Cafe community since he moved here in 1999. He has a collection of great songs and comes highly recommended by our mutual friends from a recent Jamie T tour.

Rounding out our live acts for the night is the trio RESCUE BIRD.

Armed with a piano, autoharps and spoons, these ladies are renowned for their live show.

But wait! There’s more!
Between the first and second acts, experience a post-apocalyptic Brooklyn in the short film THE LAST MAN IN BROOKLYN
9:45pm
Finally, we’re ending the night with a proper dance party, courtesy of the second most loved man in Germany: GREGORY SHIFF aka THE VACATIONIST
